S.I.A.T.A. was founded in 1980 by Luigi Ferrali with a strong motivation for research, experimentation and qualitative improvement.

The design of the SIATA valves in glass fibre reinforced ABS means that various types of regenerant can be accepted (NaOH, Hcl, H2SO4) for the following treatments: water softening, filtration, demineralization, decarbonisation, neutralisation and the iron removal. The inlet and outlet valves are twin activated by the valve controllers, which can also be used to control several separate valves. Either air or water can be used to control fluid. A camshaft acts on the controllers to perform the various regeneration phases. This control camshaft can be made to measure to fulfill the various operational or application needs.
